So since i didn't write anything under this page as yet i figured i might as well do so *shrugs*.
So...I"m in a relationship. It has been 1 year and 10 months and trust me its been more than a rollercoaster but once its based on love, all of the hurdles become worth it.
Just a little advice from a girl's perspective:
1) Never drop your standards and try making first moves. Make him come to you. It shows confidence, class and a test to see how much the guy really likes you. If he doesn't make the move.....then he clearly isn't serious about you.
2) Never jump into a relationship too fast. Give it some time, get to know the person and hang out a bit. I don't believe in love at first sight. To me, that's impossible. My boyfriend and i knew each other 2 months before we decided to actually get together and all that stuff. Before, we were very casual.
3) Being in a relationship is a learning process. Even if you know the person that well, never go too fast.
4) To me, a relationship based on sex never works too well and that's what i mean by going too fast. My philosophy is if you can master having a relationship with someone which is not sex inclusive for atleast some years. Then your love grows and you know that when you decide to be that intimate it would be much better.
" save the best for last" ( thats only if your serious ofcourse, if you're a fling person, this is not for you)
5) Try to create a balance between being dependent and also showing that your independent. I think guys really appreciate independent women.
6) Try to be as open as possible with your partner. If something is bothering you be sure to tell him and not bottle it up inside that could really create problems. ( i'm talking from experience, this is something i struggle with). Honesty in a relationship is very important.......its like fertilizer for a..........plant ? ( thats so cheesy but anyways u get what i mean).
